As expected, the Bengals will have Pro Bowl receiver A.J. Green against the Steelers. While dealing with a deep bicep bruise that rendered him ineffective last week, Green was listed as probable on Friday after missing Wednesday's practice and limited work on Thursday. He told ESPN NFL reporter Bob Holtzman Saturday night that he felt good during practice on Friday and that he would play Sunday Night against the Steelers.
Cincinnati also had a collection of players dealing with illness over the week. Eight players caught something this week, forcing them to miss at least one practice. Cornerback Terence Newman appears to have suffered the worst of it, sitting out of practice all week and out for Sunday's game against the Steelers. Everyone else that missed practice is active.
