NFL Playoffs and Super Bowl Odds

Who's favored to make it to Super Bowl XLIX?

Mike Carter-USA TODAY Sports

The NFL playoffs begin this Saturday when the wild-card round kicks off on ESPN. The first game features the Carolina Panthers hosting the Arizona Cardinals.

Despite Arizona finishing with an 11-5 record, the 7-8-1 Panthers are a whopping 7-point favorite, per Odds Shark. That seems less crazy when you realize Arizona could be using their third-string quarterback in Ryan Lindley, who is 1-5 in his career as a starter.

What's crazier is that's not even the biggest line, which belongs to Dallas and the 8.5 points they're favored by over Detroit. Again, at full strength, that line is ridiculous, but the Lions are without All-Pro defensive tackle Ndamukong SuhHe's suspended for acting like a moron stepping on the leg of Packers QB Aaron Rodgers.

Here are the odds for all four wild-card matchups:

Arizona at Carolina +7

Baltimore at Pittsburgh +3

Cincinnati at Indianapolis +4

Detroit at Dallas +8.5

And here are the odds to win Super Bowl XLIX

New England Patriots 5/2

Seattle Seahawks 5/2

Green Bay Packers 11/2

Denver Broncos 6/1

Dallas Cowboys 8/1

Pittsburgh Steelers 12/1

Indianapolis Colts 30/1

Baltimore Ravens 40/1

Carolina Panthers 40/1

Cincinnati Bengals 40/1

Detroit Lions 50/1

Arizona Cardinals 75/1
