Ted Wells is the name of the attorney attained by Roger Goodell to investigate the allegations around the abrupt leaving of Jonathan Martin from the Miami Dolphins. Today his report detailed the allegations of abuse and supported them with facts that do not paint Richie Incognito in a good light. Incognito has been quiet lately waiting for the results of this report to prove he is not a fault. I think the results are not what he expected.
I'm ready to move on with my life and career. I've been dragged through the mud for months by my "best friend". #betrayed #railroaded

The Report concludes that Richie Incognito along with other players (John Jerry and Mike Pouncey) engaged in a pattern of harassment directed at not only Jonathan Martin, but also another young Dolphins offensive lineman and an assistant trainer. The Report finds that the assistant trainer repeatedly was the object of racial slurs and other racially derogatory language.
This trainer happens to be Japanese born and was subjected to the kind of harassment that Incognito has been denying. The report states that the players referred to him as "Jap," "Chinaman," a "dirty communist" or a "North Korean," and would make demands such as "give me some water you f**king chink."
On Dec, 7th (Anniversary of Pearl Harbor) the players took it a step further as they: "donned traditional Japanese headbands that featured a rising sun emblem (which the Assistant Trainer had given them) and jokingly threatened to harm the Assistant Trainer physically in retaliation for the Pearl Harbor attack."
The other offensive lineman was subjected to homophobic name-calling and improper physical touching and harassment. It was also shown that Martin was taunted on a persistent basis with sexually explicit remarks about his sister and his mother and at times ridiculed with racial insults and other offensive comments.
In the report a text message exchange was revealed between Incognito and Pouncy about retaliating against Martin:
- Incognito: F**k Jmart That f****t is never back
- Pouncey: Bro I said the same thing I can't even look at him the same he's a pussy
- Incognito: My agent just said if we held mandatory strip club meetings Jmart is f**king ratting on everyone
- Pouncey: Lol wow are you serious he is a f**k boy
- Pouncey: He's not welcome back bro I can't be around that f-king guy
- Incognito: F**k that guy if Ur not with s Ur against us
- Pouncey: No question bro he's a coward for snitching
- Incognito: Snitches get stiches Blood in blood out F**king guy
- Pouncey: He's dead to me
As may seem predictable, Incognito's attorney released a statement on Friday, calling the accuracy of Wells' report into question:
Incognito's attorney releases a statement blasting Ted Wells' report. Claims it is "replete with errors."

In my personal opinion, Incognito is the type of person that probably should be black balled from the NFL. Not only is the guy a menace and an immature a-hole, he disrepects everyone he comes into contact with. At a time when people are questioning character (draft, free agency) it is amazing that people like this are given further opportunity.
As the NFL paves the way for people to accept an openly gay player, it would be hypocritical to allow players like Incognito, Pouncy and Jerry to continue to be a part of the organization.
