The Oakland Raiders are finally in a position to sign whomever they please, now that they've cleared their book and have a whopping $60 million of available cap space.
With that though comes a number of big-needs with so many holes on their roster, the biggest of which being at quarterback. This year's class of free agent QBs is thin to say the least, but Chicago bears free agent Josh McCown looked like a capable starter last year.
That's led to many tabbing him the top free agent QB, and the Raiders are reportedly one of the two teams who could end up signing him:
#Raiders interested in QB Josh McCown but many believe it’s down 2 Bears & #Bucs … Oakland still waiting to see what Houston does w/ Schaub

They could also trade for Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Darrelle Revis:
#Raiders are strong players in Darrelle Revis sweepstakes, along with Browns, according to league sources

The #Raiders are, in fact, in it for Darrelle Revis, per source (@VicTafur said). #Browns may be a bit more attractive to trade with, though
