The 2013 Biletnikoff Award winner ran a 4.33 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine and stood on most of his numbers from February -- 36" vertical, 10'0" broad jump, 6.76 three-cone drill, 3.81 shuttle. Cooks ran a handful of routes. Most scouting and NFL draft services view him as a late-first-to-early-second round grade for the receiver.
Per CBS Sports:
Special athlete with explosive feet and natural burst - springs in his legs. Fluid body control with excellent start/stop moves, open-field vision and patient hesitation to elude defenders - joystick moves with loose hips and joints. Beautiful acceleration with speed to burn - electric after the catch.
Defensive end Scott Crichton (6-foot-2, 273 pounds), viewed as the fourth-best defensive end entering the 2014 NFL draft, relied on most of his Combine numbers as well -- though he ran a limited number of drills.
