While all the talk right now surrounds the 2014 free agents, there's a number of players on the final year of their deal heading into next season. As many as 10 starters are set to have their contracts expire after the '14 season.
At least two of the players listed below should see their deals extended at some point this year. hopefully, this list of places decreases as the 2014 season draws closer and more players see their deals extended.
With that being said, here's a look at who's currently slated to hit free agency in 2014:
OG Clint Boling
LB Vontaze Burfict (restricted free agent)
QB Andy Dalton
WR A.J. Green (can apply transition tag for fifth year)
RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis
TE Jermaine Gresham
LB Emmanuel Lamur (restricted free agent)
DT Domata Peko
LB Rey Maualuga
CB Terence Newman
K Mike Nugent
DE Christo Bilukidi
RB Cedric Peerman
C Trevor Robinson
QB Zac Robinson
LB J.K. Schaffer
WR Ryan Whalen
CB Chris Lewis-Harris
It's also worth noting that wide receivers Andrew Hawkins and Dane Sanzenbacher and linebacker Vincent Rey are restricted free agents this year who have been tendered. If they end up being signed for just one more season, they too could join the free agency class of 2015.
