Jason Verrett set to visit Bengals after meeting with Steelers

The Bengals and Steelers are both in need of a corner in this year's NFL Draft, so it comes as no surprise they're both looking at Jason Verrett.

The Bengals have already lined up one visit with a top cornerback prospect, and it appears they've got another setup.

After getting a visit with Virginia Tech's Kyle Fuller, the Bengals will also host TCU's Jason Verrett:

Between Fuller and Verrett, those may be the two best CBs on the board when the Bengals make their first pick at No. 24. Both are techincally sound and could be the two corners who make an impact quickly as rookies.

But Verrett is rather small (5'9") for an NFL corner and is coming off labrum surgery. Fuller wasn't able to put all of his abilities together until 2013, primarily due to missing games throughout his career due to various injuries. His senior season ended prematurely due to hernia surgery in November of 2013.

As to which one the Bengals prefer, they did send defensive backs coach Vance Joseph to Verrett's Pro Day. Either one of these guys would be a solid pickup in the first round.

Other corners in contention for this pick are Oklahoma State's Justin Gilbert and Michigan State's Darqueze Dennard. However, both of them are expected to be off the board at this point, though teams may be cooling on Dennard.
