When the Cincinnati Bengals begin their voluntary offseason workouts this year, the team will be spending over $3 million for players to attend this year. Since voluntary workouts are not required (hence the name), the bonuses that they receive won't be applied until they spend the time in Cincinnati for those workouts.
Bengals defensive linemen Carlos Dunlap and Geno Atkins will earn the most, each receiving a $300,000 workout bonus. Linebacker Rey Maualuga will earned $250,000 and six players will earned $200,000 (the list is below). In all, 30 players will receive $3.205 million collectively.
The team will conduct voluntary strength and conditioning workouts on April 21. Offseason Training Activities (dubbed OTAs) are scheduled for May 27-29, June 3-5, and June 16-19. Mandatory camp is between June 10-12.
