With the NFL Draft now just two weeks away, the Houston Texans are close to making their final decision as to what to do with the first pick in this year's draft. Though many expect them to take South Carolina's Jadeveon Clowney, some believe they still may end up trading the pick.
NFL.com's Gil Brandt believes there is a "good chance" the Texans trade down from the No. 1 overall pick:
.@PittCritic Good chance #Texans move down. Trade similar to Giants-Chargers trade, preaarnged to take Clowney for some other team.

Andre Johnson has already said he believes Houston should trade the top overall pick. On Monday, Peter King cited a friend of Texans general manager Rick Smith who claims the team likes Buffalo linebacker Khalil Mack over Clowney.
While it's easy to say this could all be just a smokescreen, the Texans don't really need to hide their intentions while holding the top pick. They're in a position to let everyone know what they wanting to do in hopes they'll come to the Texans with a sweet enough offer to move up to the No. 1 spot.
Perhaps, the news of them favoring Mack will force another team who covets him to swap picks with the Texans to secure his services.
