Detroit Lions Pro Bowl defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has reportedly elected not to show up for the team's voluntary three-day minicamp. This, in the midst of the final year of his contract, in which he's slated to count an astounding $22.4 million against the cap in 2014. According to one report, Suh's place in Detroit might not be as firm as once thought.
Per a source, the #Lions are having discussions about moving #Suh before the draft to move up as high as possible in the first round.

If the Lions do decide to part with Suh, they shouldn't accept anything less than a first-round pick in this year or next year's NFL Draft. At just 27 years old and heading into just his second NFL contract, Suh is one of the best defensive lineman in the game, and will be for the foreseeable future. He finished the 2013 season as the No. 2 DT via Pro Football Focus. Suh's rating has improved every year since he came into the NFL, and his +33.9 grade last year was the fifth-best by any defensive player. Only Robert Quinn, Von Miller, Calais Campbell, J.J. Watt and Gerald McCoy had a better grade than him.
UPDATE: There's some issue with the tweet, especially coming from SB Nation's excellent Pride of Detroit, which covers the Detroit Lions.
What he said. RT @jkatzenstein Not going to share a tweet out there about Lions considering a Suh trade because I don't buy it for a second.

You don't trade your best defensive player, especially when you're in win-now mode and you'd still take a $19.5 million cap hit. The end.
