Terrance Cobb meets with Cincinnati Bengals

Terrance Cobb imay be someone the Bengals are targeting as a priority undrafted free agent signing

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Cincinnati Bengals appear to looking for a diamond in the rough in University of Cumberlands (Ky.) running back Terrance Cobb, who's meeting with the team today:

Cobb rushed for 1,991 yards and 26 touchdowns as a junior in 2012 and was named  Mid-South Offensive Player of the Year. He was sidelined for several games last season and rushed for just 540 yards and six touchdowns.

It's probably safe to assume Cobb is someone the Bengals are targeting as a priority undrafted free agent signing. Being a local prospect, it's easy for the Bengals to meet with him and build that relationship that makes Cobb want to sign with them at the end of the draft.

As of now, CBS Sports ranks Cobb as the no. 50 RB prospect, as does NFL Draft Scout. He didn't play much in 2013 due to injuries, but looked like a viable NFL prospect his junior season.
