As we anxiously wait for the NFL to release the full regular season schedule for 2014, the league did release the dates and times for a number of this year's preseason games.
Day | Date | Opponent | Time | Location |
TBD | TBD | at Kansas City | TBD | Arrowhead Stadium |
TBD | TBD | NY JETS | TBD | Paul Brown Stadium |
TBD | 8/24 |
at Arizona | 8:00 p.m. on NBC | University of Phoenix Stadium |
TBD | TBD | INDIANAPOLIS | TBD | Paul Brown Stadium |
The first game of the 2014 league year for the Cincinnati Bengals will take place at Arrowhead Stadium against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The only time set for the Bengals is a Sunday Night Football affair with Carson Palmer and the Arizona Cardinals. The Bengals welcomed Palmer back to Cincinnati with a thrashing of he and his then-Oakland Raiders. This will be the first time they face him with his new team, the Cardinals, coming off a 10-6 season and will once again be a quality team in 2014.
With this being the third preseason game, all of the starters figure to play 2-3 quarters, so it will be a nice test between two teams who won double-digit games in 2013.
As it typically does, the games against the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday, August 28 at Cincinnati will conclude preseason action for the Bengals. This marks the 11th straight preseason the geographic rivals have closed preseason play.
