James Wilder Jr. joining Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals got a quality pickup in James Wilder Jr. who has some off-the-field baggage, but brings a lot of talent as well with him

The Cincinnati Bengals may already have four running backs signed to go with the newly-drafted Jeremy Hill, but they got one of the best backs to not get selected in the NFL Draft.

After helping the Florida State Seminoles win the 2014 BCS National Championship, James Wilder Jr. will be joining the Bengals:

Wilder was a likely Day 3 pick, until he was arrested this offseason for an incident related to a charge of driving with a suspended license.

Wilder had 81 carries for 563 yards and eight touchdowns last season in helping the Seminoles win the BCS title. He decided to forego his senior season to enter the NFL draft.

He'll compete with Rex Burkhead and Cedric Peerman for one of the final RB spots on the Bengals roster.
