CBS Sports' Mike Freeman reports that teams are contacting the Detroit Lions about the availability of defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh for a trade. Suh elected not to show up for the team's voluntary pre-draft minicamp. This, in the midst of the final year of his contract, in which he's slated to count an astounding $22.4 million against the cap in 2014.

The Lions are at least saying they don't want to move Suh, but this is still going to be an interesting situation to watch.

Baltimore Ravens running back Bernard Pierce won't be ready until the start of training camp, according to head coach John Harbaugh. If Ray Rice is suspended by the NFL and Pierce isn't ready by training camp, the Ravens might be in trouble at RB.

In that scenario, they'd left with rookie Lorenzo Taliaferro and journeyman Justin Forsett.

Free agent defensive end Jamaal Anderson is participating in New Orleans Saints rookie minicamp on a tryout basis. The last time Anderson played in the regular season was for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2012 before tearing his ACL.
