When you wake suddenly and shout "TODAY IS THE NFL DRAFT" at your unsuspecting significant other, it almost replicates that intense feeling that we had as children during Christmas morning. Presents under the tree, wrapped with sparkling colors that shields hidden treasures from their true identity, are shredded with eagerness and stubby little fingers. Sometimes it's awesome... and sometimes it's an off-brand iPad, made by a company that folded ten years ago, that our technologically-deficient parents found at a garage sale. Anything, literally anything, escalates the endless wonders, possibilities... usually resulting to a gray existence because your rich friends got better gear. And if you're that rich friend, **** you.

How are we handling things?

We're holding station at Cincy Jungle, finalizing predictions, projections and other predraft material. There will be a predraft open thread that opens in the wee-morning hours on Thursday and another will go live during the NFL draft. When we post the team's selection at No. 24 (or whenever the team decides to draft someone... trade?), we'll apply that as a secondary open thread for THAT selection. We'll have reactions, research, analysis that follows.

That's not all.

Nick Seuberling will host a special Inside the Jungle draft show that will begin at 8 p.m, joined by Anthony Cosenza and Mickey Mentzer. There will be a live chat, while the crew discusses the NFL draft, and focus specifically on the Cincinnati Bengals after the team makes their selection. They are scheduled to go through the end of the first round and will be joined by various SB Nation sites along the way to discuss their own picks.
