Giants grab Weston Richburg; Bills nab Cyrus Kouandjio

With the 43rd-overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, the New York Giants selected Colorado State center Weston Richburg. Regarded by many as the draft's best center prospect, Richburg was someone thought to be on the Bengals' radar, but they'll have to look elsewhere if they want to find a center to challenge Mike Pollak for the starting job.

Another player the Bengals probably were considering was Alabama offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio, but he went off the board to the Buffalo Bills with the 44th-overall pick.

At one point, Kouandjio was a lock to go in the first round, possibly in the Top 15, but medical red flags surrounding his arthritic knee arose at the NFL Scouting Combine, and his stock has been dropping ever since.

If the Bengals want to add depth at offensive tackle, they'll have to look elsewhere now.
