George Iloka Named to NFL's 2014 All-Breakout Team

Our own Anthony Cosenza isn't the only one who thinks Bengals safety George Iloka is in for a breakout season.

In putting together his '2014 NFL All Breakout Team', Russell Baxter of the Bleacher Report also tabbed Iloka as a breakout star to watch out for this year.

Under the radar was the 2013 play of strong safety George Iloka. The two-year defender finished third on the team with 66 tackles while also totaling one interception, six passes defensed and a pair of forced fumbles.

Under new defensive coordinator Paul Guenther, the Bengals may have to be even better on this side of the ball to reach the playoffs for a fourth straight year. Look for Iloka to make that a possibility.

As Baxter said, the Bengals will need Iloka to step up in 2014 for this defense to remain elite. Adam Jones, Reggie Nelson and Terence Newman are all in their 30s, and their performance on the field could dip this year.

Iloka needs to improve to help offset that while protecting the back end of this defense.
