The Miami Dolphins are going to be without two of their key offensive players for awhile. Running back Knowshon Moreno is going to miss the next month or so of action due to surgery on his knee.
The bigger loss is center Mike Pouncey, who's going to be out for three months, likely meaning he'll miss the start of the 2014 NFL season.
And...Dolphins RB Knowshon Moreno will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery this week and miss four to five weeks, per ESPN sources.

Pouncey was the best lineman on a team that had one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL. Three months would him return for Week 4 at the Oakland Raiders. It's more likely Pouncey starts the season on the PUP list, making him eligible to return for Week 7 at the Chicago Bears.
As for Moreno, he signed with Miami this offseason. He was an big part of the Denver Broncos record-setting offense in 2013. The five-year veteran out of Georgia ran for a career best 1,038 yards and 10 touchdowns last season.
Moreno was also a factor in the passing game as he caught 60 passes for 548 yards and three touchdowns. Thi is bad news for Ryan Tannehill that both are out.
