Best NFL free agents: Who makes sense for Bengals 90th roster spot?

With training camp a month away, the Bengals can and probably will make a couple of roster move between now and then. At the very least, they'll sign another player to give them 90 bodies heading into camp.

Per the NFLPA, Cincinnati has 89 players signed with $23,271,932 million in unused cap space.

The Bengals are highly unlikely to sign another quarterback, running back and cornerback. Those positions have established starters and good depth behind them.

But there are a couple of positions that may need one more body, just to be safe entering training camp. At safety, with Reggie Nelson aging and George Iloka being good but not great in 2013, a little more veteran depth would be nice to go with Danieal Manning, who's coming off a broken leg that cost him the final 10 games of last season.

Do the Bengals add another kicker to compete with Mike Nugent and Quinn Sharp? Do they bring in another punter behind Kevin Huber and TJ Conley? The Bengals have had three different kickers used during the preseason in year's past.

Defensive end is still very questionable. Yes, Margus Hunt has looked great in OTAs, but until he does so in pads in actual games, it's still unknown if he's ready for a starting role this year.

Wallace Gilberry works best as a DE/DT off the bench. Will Clarke is a raw rookie. Robert Geathers turns 31 in August coming off a season-ending elbow injury after just two games last year.

Oh, and there's that Sam Montgomery fellow.
