Mike and Maurkice Pouncey aren't having great offseasons, and it could be getting worse for them prior to the start of NFL training camps.
The two brothers reportedly assaulted a man at a Cameo Nightclub, according to Ryan Cortes of the Palm Beach News Times.
A man says that Dolphins center Mike Pouncey and his brother Maurkice asaulted Him at Cameo Nightclub in Miami Beach.
The often troubled Dolphins center and his twin behemoth brother held their annual birthday bash.
Cameo -- for those who remember -- is also the same spot the twins found themselves at last year donning "Free Hernandez" caps in honor of their alleged murderous friend and former teammate Aaron.
The Miami Dolphins are already going to be without Mike Pouncey, who's going to be out for three months, likely meaning he'll miss the start of the 2014 NFL season. Pouncey was the best lineman on a team that had one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL.
But offseason surgery on his hip will likely knock him out of the start of 2014, and a potential suspension in this year or in 2015 (depending on potential court proceedings) could get tacked on.
The Pittsburgh Steelers lost Pro Bowl center Maurkice Pouncey to a torn ACL and MCL in his right knee during the Steelers’ 16-9 loss to the Titans in Week 1 of 2013. Pouncey was blocking on a run play when teammate and right guard David DeCastro dove directly into his lower leg.
Pouncey is arguably the top center in the NFL, and has been a fixture at the position where the Steelers have produced such greats as Mike Webster and Dermontti Dawson.
It's possible Maurkice could be suspended as well, depending on his involvement, as well as how fast the legal process out if charges are brought forth.
