When healthy, the Atlanta Falcons have one of the NFL's best passing offenses, highlights by one of the best 1-2 punches at wide receiver. Roddy White and Julius Jones are a devastating combination when they're both healthy, but injuries to both of the last year led to down seasons fro them and the Falcons.
Despite being set to turn 33 in November, Atlanta still believes in White's abilities, and they've just put their money where their mouth is by singing him to a new deal.
With camp about to begin, Falcons are giving WR Roddy White a 4-year extension that ties him to ATL for next five seasons, per sources.

White battled injuries last year, but still managed to catch 63 passes for 711 yards, his lowest season totals since 2006. Better health for him, as well as having Jones back by his side, should lead to a better season all around for the Falcons.
Sitting at 685 career receptions for 9,436 yards, White has a chance to eclipse the 10,000 yard mark this year. While he won't break that mark in Week 2 vs. the Cincinnati Bengals, he certainly could eclipse the 700 career receptions mark that day.
He'd become just the 43rd player in NFL history to do so. As of now, he's the 11th among active players in career catches.
