Dane Sanzenbacher, Brandon Tate and Cobi Hamilton are battling for snaps behind AJ Green, Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu, and thus far, Tate is the one looking the best in practice.
My 4/5/6 receivers in any order: Brandon Tate, Dane Sanzenbacher, Cobi Hamilton. James Wright is the only one who could crack that or he's 7— Brennen Warner (@JustBeWarned) July 27, 2014
WR Brandon Tate looking good in camp. But he ALWAYS looks better in camp. #Bengals— Andrew Miller (@AndrewFoxMiller) July 27, 2014
I will say none of the new wide receivers outside of James Wright have impressed me at all— Brennen Warner (@JustBeWarned) July 27, 2014
To recap, the Bengals added only James Wright in the seventh-round of the NFL Draft after not signing anyone during free agency. They did add several undrafted free agent receivers, but none of them were expected to crack the 53-man roster.
Regardless, it's been Tate whose had his name mentioned often during the first four days of camp. At this rate, he's going to easily retain his spot on the 53-man roster.
