As the guys at EA continue to reveal their player rating for Madden NFL 15, Geno Atkins made their top-5 defensive tackle ratings.

Atkins lost his top spot to the Lions' Ndamukong Suh, but did still come in at No. 2, despite missing half of the 2013 season.

While, Geno Atkins had a major injury that ended his 2013 season, it doesn't affect his Madden NFL 15 ratings in a big way. Geno still has top-end burst (92 ACC, ranked second for DT’s) and a position-leading 98 Power Moves rating.

The year as a whole may go down as a year to forget for Atkins after he tore his ACL in Week 9, but he's still regarded as one of the best defensive lineman in football. He finished '13 with six sacks, 20 QB hurries and nine tackles.

His last full season came in 2012, an All-Pro season after he led all NFL interior linemen in sacks with 12.5, which was third-most in franchise history. Atkins was also selected to a second straight Pro Bowl for his '12 performance, and was voted a starter for the first time.

As for Suh, he stormed the league in 2010 season and led all defensive tackles in sacks with 10 to go with 66 tackles. He regressed the following year and finished the 2011 season with four sacks and 36 tackles.

Suh finished 2012 with eight sacks and 35 tackles. followed by 5.5 sacks and 49 tackles last year.
