Much of the debate surrounding Andy Dalton this offseason has been his true value to the Bengals, and how much they should be willing to pay him in his next contract.
Dalton is entering a contract year having been to the playoffs each of the past three years, but has failed to win a game.
Whether he's a franchise quarterback or a serviceable starter will remain up for debate, as will his fantasy football value.
Dalton set career-highs in passing yards (4,293), passing touchdowns (33) and rushing yards (183) en route to finishing as the fourth-best quarterback last season in fantasy football.
To show Dalton’s fantasy value, only Denver’s Manning and Drew Brees tossed for more touchdowns, and his 4,293 passing yards ranked seventh-best in the NFL.
But that was under the tutelage of Jay Gruden, and all indications are is that Hue Jackson is going to scale Dalton's passing attempts down and put the ball in Giovani Bernard's and Jeremy Hill's hands.
That's going to lead to a drop in production, and thus, his projections for 2014 in terms of fantasy football are pretty low right now.
Here are some various 2014 fantasy rankings and projections for Dalton:
