Marvin Jones had foot surgery; Should return vs. New England Patriots

Hopefully, Jones will be back for the Pats game, and this injury won't linger throughout the season.

THe Cincinnati Bengals played Marvin Jones' foot injury off like it was nothing more than a simple procedure done that would hold him out "a few weeks."

That couldn't be further from the truth. Not only will Jones miss the rest of the preseason, but he'll likely be out the first month of the season after having foot surgery over the weekend.

Jones will likely miss Week 1 vs. the Baltimore Ravens, Week 2 vs. the Atlanta Falcons and week 3 vs. the Tennessee Titans. The bye week comes in Week 4, followed by a Sunday night Football showdown with the New England Patriots.

Because the Bengals won the AFC North in 203, they have to play the division winners of the AFC East (Patriots) and AFC West (Denver Broncos). Hopefully, Jones will be back for the Pats game, and this injury won't linger throughout the season.
