Eifert has yet to play in a preseason game, with a shoulder that's been bothering him all summer. Though he was working out in camp earlier this month, he dinged his shoulder on August 12.
Expected to be an explosive contributor this year, especially with Marvin Jones in the infirmary until next month, Eifert posted 39 grabs, 445 yards receiving and two scores last season.
