ESPN Report: Mike Brown "trending towards resolution"

Brown, who turned 79 on Aug. 10, assumed full control of the Bengals on August 1991, after his father, Paul, passed away from complications related to pneumonia. Mike is doing better, according a team spokesman.

Cincinnati Bengals owner Mike Brown continues to improve, according to an ESPN report. Brown was admitted to a Phoenix-area hospital Sunday morning to deal with a "minor medical situation", the team said in a statement:

"Bengals president Mike Brown had a minor medical situation this morning in Phoenix. He is being treated, and for precautionary purposes, he will not attend this evening's game against the Arizona Cardinals. He will travel back to Cincinnati shortly."

Scheduled to attend the Bengals preseason game in Arizona on Sunday Night, it was decided that Brown would immediately fly back to Cincinnati after treatment. The team told ESPN on Monday that Brown's situation is "trending toward resolution" and that he'll be back doing whatever Mike Brown does soon (my words, not theirs). As for what actually happened, that remains a mystery.
