Marvin Lewis says AJ Green good to go; Not sure on Vontaze Burfict

Marvin Lewis revealed Vontaze Burfict is still going through the concussion protocol, and there's no definitive answer to his availability on Sunday.

The Bengals have several key players battling injuries, but All-Pro receiver A.J. Green is expected to play on Sunday. Green was limited with a foot injury on Wednesday; he then missed Thursday's practice.

However, head coach Marvin Lewis said that Green is good to go Sunday vs. the Falcons after practicing fully on Friday.

Foot injuries can pop up at anytime, and sometimes, don't truly reveal themselves until after a game has concluded. Judging by the fact Green was dealing with the injury on Wednesday, it's safe to assume he was either dealing with the injury going into last Sunday's game, or suffered it at some point against Baltimore. Either way, he'll play against the Falcons on Sunday.

The same cannot be said for Vontaze Burfict. The Pro Bowl linebacker did practice Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday after suffering a concussion Sunday. However, Lewis revealed Burfict is still going through the concussion protocol, and there's no definitive answer to his availability on Sunday.
