It looks like AJ Green may be able to play in Week 3 vs. the Tennessee Titans.

The Cincinnati Bengals were hit with several injuries to key players on Sunday vs. the Falcons, but the initial word is one of them are serious.

It looks like A.J. Green may be able to play in Week 3 vs. the Tennessee Titans.

And from the mothership:

It appears that A.J. Green won't be lost for a long period of time and if he doesn't play next Sunday against Tennessee, indications are he had a negative MRI and he'll be ready after the bye week for the Oct. 5 game in New England. He wasn't on crutches with his right toe injury and watched the last three quarters of Sunday's 24-10 victory over Atlanta on the sideline.

It's the injury that scratched Green from practice on Thursday, but he went full go on Friday. He left after the first couple of plays of the game and had no catches for the first time in his 49 NFL games.

Starting left tackle Andrew Whitworth also sounds good to go next Sunday after suffering a knee injury. The optimism is not as high with starting right guard Kevin Zeitler, but his calf injury shouldn't keep him out too long.

Right guard Kevin Zeitler (calf) left on crutches and it’s unclear how long he’ll be out, but indications are it’s not a season-ender. Left tackle Andrew Whitworth (knee) walked out of the locker room and appears to be ready for next week.

If Green were to miss next week, Mohamed Sanu, Brandon Tate and Dane Sanzenbacher would like be the top three wideouts vs. Tennessee. Whitworth would be replaced by Marshall Newhouse if he's unable to go. Mike Pollak will start in place of Zeitler if he can't go.
