Devon Still's beautiful speech to Leah, Bengals show support

Our thoughts go to Leah and the entire Still family. Support comes from everywhere as she takes the next step on her road to recovery.

As the Bengals head into their Bye Week, one player isn't about to get any rest on his week off. Devon Still and his daughter, Leah, are in the fight of their lives as Leah battles pediatric cancer. The next round of her long fight with the terrible disease starts today -- a surgical procedure to remove a tumor.

Thursday morning, Leah was featured in a music video for a mashup of two song by Sara Bareilles and Cyndi Lauper, which made its debut on a "Today Show" segment called "Truly Brave." The song is a mashup of "True Colors" and "Brave" and the video features young cancer patients at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Leah's story has gripped NFL fans across the U.S. We all want nothing but the best for Devon Still and his daughter Leah. Support was shown in the purchase of the Devon Still jerseys that broke records in sales. Today, we show support as we send positive thoughts to little Leah as she takes the next step on her road to recovery. No one can say it better than a strong father:

He adds the following quote to the video:

Pre-surgery pep talk...I might be nervous and scared beyond words but I'll never let her see it...let's get this done!

Many of Still's teammates and friends also show their support on twitter:

Hats off to you Devon, here's to hoping for a speedy recovery for Leah.
