Arian Foster, Brandon Marshall Active; Jake Locker Among NFL Inactives

Here's a look at the biggest players who are either inactive or active after looking questionable to play.

Mark Zerof-USA TODAY Sports

The meat of the NFL week 4 schedule is about to start with the early slate of Sunday games. There were several big-name players who were iffy to play coming into Sunday. Here's a look at the biggest players who are either inactive or active after looking questionable to play.

Houston Texas RB Arian Foster

Though he's dealing with another hamstring injury, Foster will play today vs. the Buffalo Bills.

Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson

An ankle injury won't keep Johnson out today vs. the New York Jets. He's good to go and should have a huge day against a poor Jets secondary.

Tennessee Titans QB Jake Locker

Locker will not play today at the Indianapolis Colts. Charlie Whitehurst will start in his place. According to Ian Rapoport, Whitehurst will start instead of sixth-round rookie Zach Mettenberger because the team believes Locker's injury is short-term.

Chicago Bears WRs Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery

The Bears will have both of their star receivers today for an NFC North-showdown with the Green Bay Packers.

San Francisco 49ers TE Vernon Davis

Davis has been dealing with an ankle and knee issue, but he is set to face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

Baltimore Ravens CB Lardarius Webb

Webb is a healthy scratch for today's game vs. the Carolina Panthers.
