The Bengals open their season on the road in Baltimore. I am sure there is still a sour taste in the mouth of all Ravens fans for the way the Bengals ended the season of the bird's last year. We once again lean on Tecmo to give us the all knowing insight into how this game is going to play out. Let's get it on.
The Bengals receive the opening kickoff and right away it is evident that this is going to be a run heavy offense. Giovani Bernard is given the ball often with very little threat from Andy Dalton and the passing game.
The Ravens defense holds as C.J. Mosley gets to Dalton for a sack. The Bengals are forced to attempt a field goal.
The kick is good.
The Bengals play some pretty good defense of their own. After a Vontaze Burfict sack, Leon Hall comes up with the interception off of Joe Flacco.
Dalton can't seem to complete a pass as the first quarter closes with the Bengals on top 3 to 0.
The Bengals are forced to punt.
This drive is deja-vu for the Ravens as Burfict gets to Flacco again. Then, Mr. Elite tosses a pick to Terrance Newman.
The Bengals continue to feed Bernard and this time he breaks a long run for a touchdown.
A long pass to Torrey Smith allows the Ravens to attempt a field goal of their own.
At the half, the Bengals are on top 10 - 3.
To open the second, the Bengals defense continues to pester the Ravens. Rey Maualuga gets to Flacco and the Ravens are forced to punt.
The Bengals continue to feed Bernard as the third quarter comes to a close.
The Bengals end their drive with three more points on a Mike Nugent field goal.
The Ravens complete a long pass to Steve Smith, and then Kyle Juszczyk plows into the end zone.
The Bengals were not finished though, and Giovani Bernard breaks another big run to put the game out of reach.
Just to get his point across, Burfict ends the game with another sack of Flacco.
In one of the oddest stat sheets you will see, the Bengals take this game easily without completing a pass.
