Roger Goodell ripped by NFLPA President Eric Winston and Patriots beat writer

I would say "shots fired," but then I'd be saying that everyday as everyone takes turns taking shots at NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Eric Winston has never been one to keep his thoughts to himself.

That's how he got his job as president of the NFL Players Association. He's the kind of vocal leader who players want leading their union; and it helps that Winston throws in the occasional jab at NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

Appearing on Radio Row for Super Bowl 49, Winston slammed Goodell in an interview with Tom Curran of CSNE. Winston told Curran that, "even the worst bartender at Spring Break does pretty well. Think about it, a 2-year-old could [be NFL Commissioner] and still make money."

Curran had some harsh words as well in response to Goodell's comments about protecting the NFL's brand.

"This is my job," Goodell said. "This is my responsibility to protect the integrity of the game. All of us want to make sure the rules are being followed. If there’s information the rules are being violated, I have to pursue that and I have to pursue that aggressively."

Hey, how’s that Jets tampering charge coming along, Rog? What a %#$&*$%  fraud.

Well then.
