2015 NFL Draft spot set for Cincinnati Bengals

New, comments

NFL free agency and the draft will be here soon enough for the Bengals.

Frank Victores-USA TODAY Sports

After a fourth straight stop to the playoffs ended with a first-round loss, the Cincinnati Bengals' season is over and the off-season is here.

Now, the team will look to free agency and the 2015 NFL draft to improve their roster and possibly become a Super-Bowl contender next year. Cincinnati will be drafting with the 21st selection in this year's draft following the result of the wild card round of the playoffs.

The 10-5-1 Bengals finished with the worst record of any of the first-round losers, including the 11-5 Steelers, 11-5 Cardinals and the 11-5 Lions.

This is a familiar spot for the Bengals, who've drafted with pick No. 21 for three years since 2010. They selected tight end Jermaine Gresham with that pick in 2010, followed by tight end Tyler Eifert in 2013. They also held the 21st pick in 2012, but traded back with the Patriots before selecting right guard Kevin Zeitler.
