With Jermaine Gresham set to hit free agency and Tyler Eifert recovering from shoulder and elbow injuries, Kevin Brock could very well be the Bengals' No. 1 tight end for off-season workouts.

The Cincinnati Bengals have re-signed tight end Kevin Brock, who was an exclusive-rights free agent heading into the offseason. The 6' 5", 265-pound Brock didn't do much as a pass-catcher with just five receptions for 21 yards this year.

However, Brock was a superb blocking tight end, who helped springboard Cincinnati to the No. 6 rushing offense in 2014. Brock started two games this year and played in five total games while earning the sixth-best run-blocking grade of any Bengal this year, per Pro Football Focus.

Brock opened the 2014 training camp with the Bengals and was waived on Aug. 26. He has six games of NFL experience from previous stints with Buffalo and Kansas City.

With Jermaine Gresham set to hit free agency and with Tyler Eifert recovering from shoulder and elbow injuries, Brock could very well be the No. 1 TE for off-season workouts. Brock would work alongside H-Back Ryan Hewitt as the top TEs if Cincinnati doesn't draft or sign another one.
