Week 6 of the NFL kicks off with the New Orleans Saints playing host to the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football.
Both teams are off to surprising starts this season, though for very different reasons. With the Falcons coming off back-to-back losing seasons, no one saw them opening the year 5-0. They look night and day different under new head coach Dan Quinn than they have in recent years, and they're easily one of, if not the most surprising team this season.
Unfortunately, the same can be said for the Saints, though it's because they've been surprisingly bad. Sitting at 1-4 and in danger of falling out of playoff contention before October even ends, this is a must-win game for New Orleans as they host their NFC South rivals.
The Falcons are coming off an overtime win over Washington last Sunday. Falcons cornerback Robert Alford scored the game-winning pick-six in OT when he intercepted Kirk Cousins and took it to the house for a 25-19 win.
The Saints are coming off a 39-17 shellacking at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles. Quarterback Drew Brees was demolished in this game as he was sacked five times, lost two fumbles and threw one interception.
Here is everything you'll need to watch and follow this week's edition of Thursday Night Football.
