Week 8 Cincinnati Bengals vs Pittsburgh Steelers: Official Thursday injury and practice report

The Bengals had a full team effort on Thursday at practice with only Leon Hall being a limited participant. The big news of the morning was that Vontaze Burfict also practiced, beginning the three week period the Bengals now have to decide when he will join the 53-man roster (or end his season before it begins).

The Steelers saw a bunch of players return to practice today who missed yesterday including cornerback William Gay, the rest of the players who returned were out yesterday for resting, not injury purposes. Interestingly, safety Will Allen and backup quarterback Michael Vick did practice in a limited role on Wednesday, but both sat out completely on Thursday. While Vick isn't really relevant as Roethlisberger is likely to start, seeing Allen regress on the injury report is worth taking note of.

As always, Friday's injury report will be the most important one of the week. For the Bengals, it's hopeful Hall will get in one full session before Sunday's game in Pittsburgh. If Hall doesn't play, expect Darqueze Dennard to take on a role similar to that of his performance in Buffalo.
