Bengals hold commanding lead in AFC North

The Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens secured wins this weekend while the Pittsburgh Steelers, without Ben Roethlisberger, and Cleveland Browns have slipped.

Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

The Cincinnati Bengals, who defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 36-21 on Sunday, secured their first 4-0 record since 2005; it's also the fourth time Cincinnati has started 4-0 in franchise history ('05, '88 and '75).

In the meantime, the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers (without Ben Roethlisberger) on a 52-yard field goal with 5:08 remaining in overtime on Thursday. On Sunday, San Diego placekicker Josh Lambo crushed a 34-yarder as time expired, helping the Chargers defeat the Cleveland Browns.

At the end of the day, the Bengals are two games over the Steelers and three over the Browns and the Ravens -- it's actually 3.5 games over the Ravens, considering the Bengals secured a head-to-head win last week in Baltimore.
