Thursday Bengals Practice Report: Adam Jones back at Bengals practice

The Bengals continue to get good news on the injury front.

Update: Though Wallace Gilberry was seen on the training bike during today's Bengals' practice, he was officially listed on the injury report as a non-participant.

When the Bengals host the Seahawks this Sunday, they may have everyone on the 53-man roster healthy and able to play.

Though the gameday roster only allows 46 players, it's rare the Bengals have ever been able to pick from all 53 players to select who they dress to play. It's unclear what the Bengals may be doing differently this year, other than changing their Friday practice to be more of a walkthru, but being able to play anyone on the 53-man roster is something we honestly cannot remember the Bengals being able to do in recent history.

Returning to practice Thursday after sitting out Wednesday was cornerback Adam Jones. He sat out Wednesday with what was listed as a groin injury, though he also had an elbow injury during the Week 3 win over the Ravens.

There were conflicting reports on defensive end Wallace Gilberry's status for Thursday. He sat out Wednesday with a calf injury, but appeared to be back today before going to work on the exercise bike.

If Gilberry were to not play on Sunday against the Seahawks, the Bengals would have an interesting decision to make on who would be active in his place. Do they go with Margus Hunt and give themselves more of a pass-rushing threat at defensive end and tackle? The same is true with rookie Marcus Hardison, who has yet to be active this year and was injured for Weeks 1-3. Or, do they go with Brandon Thompson and give themselves more interior run defense against a Seahawks team that prefers the ground-and-pound approach?

Offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth and cornerback Leon Hall were also back Thursday after getting a veteran's rest day off on Wednesday. George Iloka also practiced Thursday after returning yesterday after a week off due to an ankle injury. He looks good to go for Sunday.
