When the NFC Champions from the past two years are your opponent, your audience is bound to grow. That's certainly the case this week for the Cincinnati Bengals versus Seattle Seahawks TV coverage.
For the first time this season, the Bengals' game will be shown on FOX, not CBS and a big part of the country will be able to watch the 1:00 p.m. game, taking place at Paul Brown Stadium.
Essentially the entire west coast and northeast will be able to watch the Bengals attempt to reach a 5-0 record for the first time since 1988. The Bengals' 1975 squad also went 5-0, and both actually went 6-0, after that. Of course, that 1988 team would end up making it to the Super Bowl before losing in devastating fashion to the San Francisco 49ers.
After the Bengals game is over on Sunday, those in the Cincinnati area will have the New England Patriots at Dallas Cowboys game on CBS at 4:00. Sunday Night Football features the San Francisco 49ers at New York Giants and Monday Night Football features the Ben Roethlisberger-less Pittsburgh Steelers at the San Diego Chargers.
