Week 11 Cincy Jungle staff picks for every NFL matchup: Rebounding after 9-upset week

Last week was our nadir. Our red wedding. It was bad all-around. While the Bengals suffered their first loss of the season, our picks performed even worse, which had a lot to do with the nine underdogs who won in Week 10, including the Lions getting their second win of the season over the Packers. Who saw that coming? Not us.

Two of the Cincy Jungle writers managed to go .500. Everyone else fared worse, with several of us missing 10 of the 14 games. On to Week 11!

This week, we only have one game that the entire staff agrees on. We have picked Seattle to beat San Francisco. This obviously speaks more to the dumpster fire that the 49ers have become rather than how good Seattle is, as they haven't exactly lit the world on fire thus far. I think I can speak for the whole CJ staff when I say that picking Blaine Gabbert on the road in Seattle would take a leap of faith that would require such a superhuman stretch of the imagination that only children under the age of five could manage it.

Conversely, there are a whopping four games that the 11 pickers are split 6-5 on. We have given the slight edge to Baltimore, Denver, Dallas, and Minnesota over St. Louis, Chicago, Miami, and Green Bay, respectively.
