After missing every practice last week, Cincinnati's Sunday Night loss to Arizona and Wednesday's session, cornerback Adam Jones is finally easing his way back. According to reports, Jones was a limited participant during Thursday's practice, which is an obvious upgrade dealing with a foot injury. According to the NFL, Jones is ninth in pro bowl balloting as a cornerback and eight as a returner.

Rams head coach Jeff Fisher thinks Jones will play, calling him a "competitor" during Wednesday's presser with Cincinnati's media. Fisher was Jones' head coach when the cornerback was a first round pick during the 2015 NFL draft. Jones, who played two seasons with the Titans, but was suspended in 2007 for an itinerary of issues before his release.

"There have been many players with his issues that couldn't figure it out. He figured it out," Fisher said via "I'm happy for him. I'm looking forward to seeing him. I guess I would compliment the Bengals organization and Marvin for giving him that opportunity. He had it in him. That's why we drafted him. He's a special football player. He's very instinctive. He's a smart football player. And he always has been."

Per the Bengals injury report, linebacker Vontaze Burfict (knee) and defensive tackle Pat Sims (knee) were also limited. On the bright side, many players who were limited on Wednesday were upgraded as full participants on Thursday:

CB Adam Jones (Foot)
LB Vontaze Burfict (Knee)
DT Pat Sim (Knee)
QB Andy Dalton (Groin)
TE Tyler Eifert (Knee)
WR Marvin Jones (Hamstring)
CB Dre Kirkpatrick (Knee)
OT Andre Smith (Thigh)
S Shawn Williams (Ankle)
