Week 12 Cincinnati Bengals vs St. Louis Rams: Player and coaching connections

There are only a few connections between the Rams and Bengals, but one of those connections is a former head coach and his one-time first round draft pick.

Among the connections between the Bengals and Rams is a head coach and player now on different teams who were once on the same team.

That's Rams head coach Jeff Fisher and Bengals cornerback Adam Jones, who for the first two years of his NFL career, was a member of the Tennessee Titans. "I don't think I'd be here now without Coach Fisher," Jones told Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com on Friday. "Coach Fisher called Marvin (Lewis) and said he hoped I'd get another shot. I love Fisher. Words can't express it." Fisher was responsible for drafting Jones with the sixth pick in the 2005 NFL draft.
