For the first time this week, Rey Maualuga was a limited participant in the Bengals' practice. Andre Smith once again sat out as he's going through the NFL's concussion protocol and he will not play on Thursday.
The Browns have ruled out seven players and will be seeing some rookies and backups starting against the Bengals. This is the first game that a Bengals starter has missed due to injury, and it could be three starters missing the game. If that happens, some backups will need to step up and players who have yet to be active this season will be seeing the field for the first time on Thursday.
