NFL Week 13: Cincy Jungle staff picks for every NFL matchup

Coming into the homestretch, the race at the top of the Cincy Jungle staff pool has tightened up. There is a three-way tie for first place, with Scott Schulze, Scott Bantel, and Cody Tewmey all sitting at 111-65 while Rebecca Toback has fallen one game back at 110-66. At the other end of the spectrum, the race for last place has tightened up a bit as I am now just three games behind Art Bidwell, not that that is anything to brag about.

The staff has only one consensus pick in Week 13. If I had told you before the season that the only game we all would agree on in Week 13 was Chicago over San Francisco, you probably would have thought I was crazy. However, the combination of Jay Cutler's steady play and the demise of the 49ers has made this a pretty easy pick. I know "any given Sunday" and all that, but the only thing I would trust Jim Tomsula to do would be to fix a leaky faucet.

In the other direction, the two games we are most split on is Houston at Buffalo and Kansas City at Oakland. Seven of our pickers like Houston over Buffalo and Kansas City over Oakland, respectively. Much like it being hard to believe that a Jay Cutler-led Bears team is the surest bet in the first week of December, somehow all four of these teams are in the hunt for a playoff berth this late in the season.
