The final five-game stretch of the regular season is upon us, which means many fantasy football leagues are either in their playoffs or in the final week before the playoffs.
For the Bengals, they've been loaded with fantasy weapons this season, and that will continue against a Browns defense that's been giving up points like they're handing out Christmas presents. Here's a look at which Bengals you need to be starting for today's game in Cleveland.
QB Andy Dalton
The last time the Bengals played the Browns, Andy Dalton threw for three touchdowns and no turnovers as he continued to build upon his career-season. The bad thing about Dalton here is he's typically struggled in Cleveland with just four career touchdowns in four games there.
Still, as hot as he's been this season, this is no time to sit him, especially against a Browns defense that continues to be without star cornerback Joe Haden. Dalton is primed for a monster game today, and he could be the reason why your fantasy team wins this week.
RB Jeremy Hill
The Bengals have been trying to get Jeremy Hill going this season, and he finally appeared to find his mojo last week against the Rams. Hill finished with a season-high 86 yards on 16 carries to go with one 14-yard catch, marking the first time he's hit 100 all-purpose yards this season.
Last year in Cleveland, Hill ran over the Browns to the tune of 148 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries. Though it's been a bit of a let-down season, this is the week to start Hill.
RB Giovani Bernard
It's rare you should ever start two running backs on the same team, but that's the case this week with Giovani Bernard and Hill. This Browns' defense has been so bad that the potential for big games for both Bernard and Hill is there, especially now that Tyler Eifert is likely out and Bernard will likely get more targets in the passing game. It's more likely that only one of Bernard or Hill has a big game today, but the potential for them both means both need to be started this week.
WR A.J. Green
A.J. Green finally broke out of a slump last week when he caught two touchdowns against the Rams. He's now caught just six scores all season, but he's still had several big games and several others good enough to keep starting him in fantasy football. It is worth noting the last time the Bengals played the Browns, Green caught just five passes for 52 yards. Still, Green is too good and has too much potential for a big game to sit him now.
TE Tyler Eifert
The Bengals will be without their star tight end today as Tyler Eifert is likely to sit out due to a stinger. He has yet to miss a game this season and has been dominating when he's been one the field with an NFL-high 12 touchdown catches. With him out, there will be more balls and possible scores to go around in the offense against a Browns' defense that gives up a lot of points.
WR Marvin Jones
Until Marvin Jones shows he can do more, he'll continue to be someone you sit if you have him on your fantasy team. Over the past three games, Jones has failed to top 60 all-purpose yards and hasn't scored since Week 6 at Buffalo. He typically was a nice boom-or-bust fantasy prospect, but more often than not, he's been a bust as of late.
