Remember Victor Hampton?
He was signed as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina last year. Though he had a decent showing at training camp, Hampton was among the final roster cuts, and was never signed to the practice squad.
He signed with Baltimore once the offseason began, and he's already in trouble with the law. According to WSOC-TV, Hampton got busted for DWI in Charlotte on Saturday.
Victor Hampton, 22, is facing DWI, speeding, reckless driving and open container charges.
Investigators said a trooper clocked a convertible Camaro traveling 100 mph in a 55 mph zone on Interstate 77 near Westinghouse Boulevard at approximately 12:26 a.m. The trooper initiated his emergency equipment, and the Camaro was stopped about two miles down the interstate, near Arrowood Road.
Investigators said as the trooper approached the Camaro, he observed two passengers attempting to hide firearms under the front passenger seat.
Hampton had some promise as an NFL corner coming out of college, but off-the-field issues caused him to go undrafted, and they may have just killed his NFL career.
