UCLA OL Malcolm Bunche has workout scheduled with Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals attended UCLA Pro Day on Tuesday and have scheduled a workout with offensive lineman Malcolm Bunche "in the coming weeks."

The Cincinnati Bengals, who attended the UCLA Pro Day on Tuesday, have a workout scheduled with UCLA offensive lineman Malcolm Bunche, according to Tony Pauline with the NFL Draft Insider. Bunche, who missed the Alamo Bowl in 2014 due to academic issues, is a former transfer from the University of Miami, making the switch last year to play his redshirt senior season with the Bruins.

Walter Football ranks Bunche as the 18th-best guard while our own Mocking the Draft has him ranked outside the top-18 at offensive guard and top-23 at offensive tackle. Walter Football writes that "Bunche and the UCLA line really struggled in 2014. The Bruins gave up 10 sacks to Arizona State and Utah; Brett Hundley was under fire all season. Bunche didn't impress for UCLA."

If the Cincinnati Bengals were to consider someone like Bunche, you might label him as Paul Alexander's next great project -- an offensive lineman that plays multiple positions who could use more grooming and development.
