The Bengals may not be done bringing former defensive lineman back to Cincinnati.
According to Geoff Hobson, the Bengals may be interested in a reunion with defensive tackle Pat Sims, who's still a free agent after spending the past two years in Oakland. Cincinnati needs more depth along the defensive line, and Sims would be a solid addition this late in free agency.
Must Reads
Originally drafted by the Bengals in the third-round of the 2008 NFL draft, Sims is a run-stuffing tackle who helped Cincinnati rank 12th in run defense his final year in stripes.
Pro Football Focus gave Sims an overall grade of -3.4 this past season, one year after he was ranked a top-15 run defender (+4.6) and a top-20 overall defensive tackle. That's exactly what the Bengals could use to aid a defensive line that struggled mightily in 2015.
