Bengals attend Utah Pro Day

The Bengals were among all 32 NFL teams represented at Utah's pro day on Thursday.

This isn't the first time Cincinnati has been associated with Utes this offseason. Marvin Lewis was present for a private workout with defensive end Nate Orchard. The 6'3", 250-pounder doesn't appear to have the frame the Bengals like in their defensive ends, but there's at least some interest between the two parties.

As for others working out at Utah Pro Day, receiver Kaelin Clay ran the 40-yard dash in 4.46 and 4.47 seconds, and then stood on the rest of his numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine. Clay was a first-team All-Pac-12 selection as a return specialist after returning one kickoff and three punts for touchdowns in 2014. The Bengals still need a replacement for Brandon Tate.

Fellow Utes receiver Dres Anderson is recovering from a torn meniscus this past season that caused him to miss the final six games of the year. He was a 1,000-yard receiver in 2013, and someone may take a late-round flyer on him.

Eric Rowe is a guy who should hear his named called within the first 100 picks. He spent the majority of his college career at safety before switching to corner this past season. He went on to grab one interception while deflecting 13 passes.

Offensive guard Jeremiah Poutasi is another guy to watch for if the Bengals want to boost their offensive line depth. He actually played offensive tackle in college, but is expected to play guard at the pro level.
